This class will cover shop safety and the proper use of a lathe by making a basic bowl from start to finish. To minimize drying times so that the student can finish their bowl in a reasonable amount of time, we will be using dried bowl blanks. We will also discuss various finishes to add some personalization to your bowl. Once finished, you will be able to enjoy your bowl for years to come. Note: This class utilizes Easy Wood Tools with carbide cutters. If you prefer classic High Speed Steel (HSS) tools, bring your own or inquire within when attending class.
