The result is that you can have less pressure in the center of the part than around the edges; this can force the adhesive toward the center of the part, causing the part to not be totally flat or in a worst case, incomplete lamination of the center area. It is recommended to use a thin film of polyethylene between the part and the breather fabric to prevent the adhesive from contacting the breather fabric. It also helps keep your bag free of adhesive.
